The Velvet Room is located 15 km south of Amsterdam. After you place your order for one or more tickets, you will receive a confirmation per e-mail message.
This e-mail message is also your ticket to the concert.
All Velvet Room concerts start at 20:30h. You are expected to arrive around 20:00h.

Tickets for The Velvet Room are non-refundable. However, the tickets can be rescheduled. Please contact us for availability.
One week before the concert of your choice you will receive another e-mail message with all relevant information.
A unique possibility to see and hear Michiel Borstlap ('Magistraal Muzikaal Universum' - Volkskrant) at work.
It is probably the smallest concert room in the Netherlands! This space has been magically converted into a miniature version of the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and seats 16 visitors.
Michiel plays pieces of his most recent solo albums, like Blue, Reflective, Frames, Velvet, MVSES, ELEMENTS, PACE and OWN LIGHT. He has performed together with a.o. Herbie Hancock, Gino Vannelli, Bill Bruford, Lavinia Meijer and Ludovico Einaudi.
He has won several national and international awards, like the Thelonious Monk/BMI Composers Award, an Edison and the Dutch Gouden Kalf.
